What is the Cats ’n’ Cocktails Mystery Series? It’s a brand new cozy mystery series that centers around the tiny northern tourist town of Four Oaks where visitors are drawn to Main Street’s collection of fascinating shops and clever on-theme restaurants.

The main character, Anya McClean is the proprietor of a rescue bar and grill called Cats ’n’ Cocktails. While the multiple story lines revolve around the bar and grill and its proprietor - with the exception of a mysterious cat known as Ching -the series isn’t really about the cats.

It’s about curious characters, suspicious misdeeds, tarot, the supernatural, murder, mystery, and a steamy love triangle— the basis of which is the lifetime saga of Anya McClean, Tate Blackledge, and the entire Notah family. It’s about fortune hunters, a notorious art gallery, Christmas trains bound for New Orleans, love, romance, suicidal mystery writers, greed, betrayal, thievery, revenge, pirate lore, wise-guys, horse-racing, drug traffickers, a magnificent ranch where wild horses graze, the Lakota tribe, seasonal festivals, holidays, a haunted inn, family, loyalty, legacies, death and resurrection. In keeping with cozy tradition - the violence and romance sizzle, but are strictly non-graphic.

The original six book collection was five years in the making. It was professionally edited - though you will find mistakes— I’m sure. It is an ongoing project with many more titles currently in development. I sincerely hope you enjoy reading the Cats ’n’ Cocktails Mystery books as much as I enjoyed creating them.
