Styx inherited a shortsword with an intricate design of copper along its silver blade. With it comes a destiny, but she’ll be damned if she knows what it is.
As far as Styx can figure, she is meant to kill the demons who’ve come Topside to break the accords. The why of it seems clear enough, but something makes her think there is more to it than that. Probably because the sword drinks up the demons’ blood as if it's starved.
Destinies are not just lightly tossed around to just anyone. Nor are they ever so simple.
