Denise is my best ‘girl’ friend. It’s been that way for as long as I can remember. I’m there for her and she’s there for me. It’s what we do, and nothing will ever come between us.
So, when a typical night turns into the most thrilling experience of my life, I quickly realize that I want more.
The platonic kisses on the cheek? I’m over them.
The friendly hugs that crush her breasts against my chest? F*** that!
The writing is on the wall. I can’t be the friend Denise wants me to be because I love her.
I mean, for real.
It should be a simple transition. Denise knows me better than I know myself, and all I need to do is tell her how I truly feel; but when my past comes racing into the present, what Denise knows quickly becomes a double-edged sword. The only thing I can do is try and prove that her best ‘guy’ friend will do anything to keep her in his life.
