Say You'll Stay
Jasmine Luck

“It’s not. I was rude to you. I’m sorry.” Zach poked at his food. “You know what’s funny? That we live in Los Angeles - the City of Angels.”
I frowned, trying to decide whether to stay or go. “Why is that funny?”
“Because you’re the first one I’ve met.”

Asian American librarian Martha Song loves books, and the worlds to be found inside them. She's happy in her life, helping others to find the stories that speak to them, but she also knows about loss. She lost her brother Bryan, a soldier, to PTSD. She couldn't save him, but maybe there's someone else she can save.
Former Marine Zach Miller is living in a park in LA after a medical discharge and a bad break-up. He intervenes when Martha is attacked, saving her, but he doesn't know then that she's going to save him right back.
A love story about challenging preconceptions, loving fiction, and finding the family of your heart.
