Mindy still has nightmares every night from the abuse she experienced at her old workplace. She’s afraid she’s a burden to Slade and possibly distracting him from his job, which he loves. While they’ve begun to work out their relationship, Mindy doesn’t want to be the reason he has to make a choice between her and his job, so she chooses for him. When he comes out with guns waving though, she wonders if she made the right choice and if she can stick to it.

Slade hates seeing Mindy struggle every night. He does all he can to convince her he loves her and will always choose her, but she doesn’t believe him.
