The NecroDancer by Mercy DeSimone
"In my experience, slayers come with large egos and small... equipment."

Death is messy... and so are relationships.

Slayers have always been the holy grail of fangirls in the necro community. But after a zombie ate my slayer boyfriend, I'd sworn off viewing them as potential dating material. Granted, he was a lousy boyfriend, but no one deserves that horrifying fate.

As a master banisher, it's my job to raise souls and release them back to death with dignity. Only sloppy necromancers lose control and need to call in a slayer as back up. But, now, raising zombies has become a game, death is being monetized for personal gain, and I have little patience for the people who play with death. My solution? Retreat to the country and fly under the radar.

Here's the problem—you can't outrun death, and something is stalking me. It started with a spectral cat and escalated into something darker. They say I need help, but I'm not certain how to feel about two sexy twin slayers, named Trick and Treat, who are sent to watch my back. Halloween just got a lot more interesting.

Are you ready for the sugar rush?

The NecroDancer is a steamy, marshmallow fluff of a Halloween novella full of tricks, treats, and nosy matchmakers, meant for readers 18+.
