I don’t know which is weirder—the fact that my achingly hot coworker asked me to pose as his fake girlfriend for his family’s Christmas extravaganza—or the fact that I said yes.

Considering he offered me lead on the next five projects and it gets me out of my own family’s dysfunctional Christmas, it wasn’t all that hard to convince me.

After all, it’s only three days. What could go wrong?

Am I out of my mind for asking my gorgeous coworker to pose as my fake girlfriend for Christmas? Yes. Certifiably probably.

But I can’t face another holiday with my family as the only single sibling and Joss is the only woman I enjoy spending extended time with.

Besides, we’ll be with my family the whole time. No big deal, right?
