<p>Cosette knows she must escape the hellish club she works at; they essentially owned her body and soul, but complacency comes easily when you have been ensconced in evil for over half your life with no visible way to escape. </p><p>However, upon hearing the news that she was to be sold to the man who had masterminded her torture and pain for majority of her memory, Cosette finds herself finally running, albeit without a plan. Chaos seems to follow her like shadows follow the light, and in her escape, she befriends the most unlikely of people.</p><p>A nurse nicknamed Ken Kesey, who saves her life from a rattlesnake bite, but more so, from the hospital stay that is bound to send her straight back into the club’s searching arms. </p><p> A drug-dealing, cowboy-hat wearing asshole who loves classic cars and has a soft spot for helping and fixing broken things, as much as he tries to deny it. </p><p>An almost silent mortician covered in the worst scars Cosette has seen, who relies on music as a grounding mechanism for his broken mind. </p><p>A goliath who works as a fixer, and seems determined to complete his job to send Cosette back to the club that has destroyed more than just her body. </p><p>3 of these men orbit Cosette as if she is the sun and are inextricably linked to her from the moment they meet her.
