The House on Sheridan Street by Cat Kane
When he buys 1213 Sheridan Street, real estate developer Gale Sullivan expects the usual problems that come with an old, dilapidated house. What he gets, however, is a rival developer undermining his plans at every turn, the local historical society staging protests ... and Nathan Oakley.

Nathan might be charming, but his claim to be the legitimate inheritor of the house is a scam. Gale's done his homework; the previous owner had no living relatives, so whatever story Nathan's spinning has to be a lie, concocted to get his hands on the money. That's all anyone really wants from him after all, and Gale's always found it to be more reliable than people.

Except there's that weird letter, the mysterious photograph of a beautiful young girl, and all the strange coincidences that speak of a time when 1213 Sheridan Street was home to old, dark secrets.

If Gale and Nathan want a future together, they're going to have to face up to the ghosts of the past.
