Amish Blessed Love: Amish Romance by Emma Cartwright
When Susanna King, beloved wife to Amos, passes away after a relentless struggle with cancer, Rebecca Beachy’s Aunt Mercy persuades her to call on Amos with the hope of sparking a romantic interest. Rebecca is appalled by the idea, thinking her aunt’s plan is abhorrent. Surely the man is grieving, but she agrees to attend Susanna’s funeral to pay her respects.

Shortly afterwards, Rebecca discovers Amos has left the community, so overcome with grief and despair that he feels he cannot stay, leaving his impressionable young son, Levi, in his brother Samuel’s care.

Ever compassionate, Rebecca offers to support Levi and begins to form a deep attachment with the young boy.

Samuel is initially reticent about Rebecca’s help but when he sees their affection for each other growing, he can’t help but admire Rebecca’s loving perseverance.

As time moves forward, Samuel realizes that he is falling for Rebecca, asking her to marry him. Rebecca and Samuel decide they will raise Levi together in his parent’s absence.

Everything for the future is good. Until Amos returns unexpectedly, demanding his son’s return.

Can Amos find a way to mend bridges with his brother and atone for his abandonment of his only son?

Will Rebecca, caught in the whirlwind of this emotional storm, be able to find a way to assuage both brother’s feelings and hold on to her cherished dreams and hopes for the future?
