All small towns have their traditions. Some go hoppy at Easter, or batty at Halloween, while others spring into action for May Days. Maggie’s town is Christmas Crazy! For them it’s all about Decorating Day. Everyone; from Mayor’s Office to Market Place, Humble home to Huge Mansion, and Retirement Center to Restaurant gets involved.
Every December 1st, up go the lights, ornaments, garlands, and bows. And out pop roasted chestnut vendors, hot cocoa stalls, and holiday music buskers.
Almost over night, a transformation occurs. Where once was an average, quaint town now stands a winter holiday extravaganza. People come from far and wide to experience it for themselves.
This year, there is more then just snow in the air. Love is just around the corner and inside the local diner. Riv and Maggie have been drawn to each other since they met three years ago. But they’ve each kept their distance for their own reasons.
Now its finally time for two lonely souls to stop wishing from afar, and make their dreams a reality.
