Chyna Black’s daughter, India, is all grown up and about to learn she’s more like her mother than she thought. At the age of 17, she’s been the perfect teen. She’s gotten good grades, never consumed alcohol, used drugs or had sex. Her life has been pretty mundane. After watching her mother’s heart be torn to shreds time and time again, boys or love has never been on her radar. She despised the notion of giving her heart to someone. In her mind, niggas ain’t shit. If she never fell in love, she’d never have to feel pain or get her heart broken, so India lives her life guarded. That’s until she meets Baby.
Baby is everything Chyna warned India about. He’s menacing, egotistical, cocky and rude, but to India none of that matters. The 6’3, 220-pound, onyx-skinned Liberian snatched her heart on sight. Around him, she says fuck everyone and abandons her daily routine. With him, she’s able to be young, reckless and free. Together, they are able to drop their guards and shut out the outside world.
There’s one problem. Baby is eight years older than India and has more demons than a girl her age can handle. That still doesn’t stop him from thinking about her every second of the day. Despite the circumstances, he can’t see himself without the curly haired, pouty-lip, teen dream, but is their love on borrowed time? What will happen when these two souls collide?
