Being the Pack Alpha didn't mean a thing without a mate, and pups to carry on his family line. Or so the Elder Laws insisted. He'd only been alpha for about six months, and he knew time was running out. Not to mention the overwhelming desire to mate, and conceive an heir.
What he found at the festival was so out of the realm of belief, Tairin was certain it couldn't be possible. It was no female he found, that was for sure. What he found twisted his world in a new direction. One he wasn't sure he wanted to follow.
Destined mates? Male omegas who had the capacity to bear pups? Both myths as far as he knew. Only the reality was staring him in the face. And what a beautiful reality he was. His scent alone had Tairin ready to rut until the end of time.
Unwilling to just fall for something he'd never believed in, he brought his alleged destined mate back to the pack, along with his little brothers. There, Tairin tried to make sense of what was happening, and make the right decision for his pack—and himself.

Angell was so desperate to find a safe place for himself, and his younger brothers, he risked attending the Festival of Wolves, masquerading as a beta. It was a dangerous move, but he had no other choice. No other options.
Bent on finding a male willing to mate him, he hadn't expected the rich, deep scent that overwhelmed him, or the stunning, if angry alpha it belonged to. He'd only ever scoffed at his mother's belief Angell was destined for an alpha wolf. He'd never been so happy to be wrong.
Only, the Stone Mountain alpha didn't seem interested in claiming Angell. Providing a safe place wasn't enough. Not without the security of the mating bond. And Angell didn't know what they would do if the alpha decided to reject him. Somehow, he needed to convince the Pack Alpha he was the one for him, and secure the one thing he, and his brothers never had.
