Justin Velez and Larissa Kennedy were high school sweethearts until she leaves for college... and leaves Justin behind. Finances and bad timing left them both hurt, blaming each other for the missed opportunity.

Over a decade later, Justin is still haunted by the memory of their relationship and needs closure to move on. Since high school, he has gotten a business degree, taken over the family carpentry business, and raised his daughter, Bella, with the help of his parents.
