Ghosting the Blind Date
Artemed Sullivan

I show up fifteen minutes too late for my blind date at the haunted house. So, I figure, meh, it isn't meant to be.
Until there's a woman who keeps literally bumping into me, again and again, every time she's spooked inside one of the attractions.
At first, it's a bit annoying. Then, kind of cute.
Cute enough that I accept her offer to grab something to eat afterward.
Cute enough that I kind of want to keep seeing her. And I'm not the kinda person that keeps seeing people.

I'm ghosted at the haunted house by my blind date, and honestly? I've been so hurt by people, I could care less.
But then I meet this woman who's into a lot of the same things as me. And, hey, it helps that she's protecting me from all the spooky things in the haunted house.
But then she tells me she feels bad about missing her blind date, that traffic caused her to be late. And I realize it's me.
That I'm the date.
I'm not sure why, but I can't bring myself to tell her who I am.
Instead, I let her think I'm someone else.
Maybe it's because I've been burned too many times.
Maybe it's because I like the lure of mystery.
We keep seeing each other, this woman and I.
She's also texting me, too. But she thinks she's texting the woman she accidentally stood up.
When do I tell her the truth? Thing is, I think I'm in too deep that I can't.
Ghosting the Blind Date is a romance novella part of the Haunted House Series world. There's a guaranteed HEA with some steam.
