John Henry, Federal Marshal and the Disappearing Damsel is the fourth book in a series of John Henry western adventures. John Henry, in his fifteenth year as a Federal Marshal, is now in Ft. Worth, Texas. He is a man of honor, honesty, and a gentleman with an impeccable moral compass, and tries to raise his children to be the same. He always has the backs of his friends and coworkers. The only thing that gets him riled, and maybe out of control, is when someone does something to hurt one of his family.
In this story problems and dangers come from two directions and two types of shady attempted assassins from the east, and nasty rustlers from the west—with John Henry and his family caught in the middle.
A mysterious young woman is chased from her home after the murder of her husband by despicable hitmen. He had tried living a stealth to wealth life, only to be cut down by his own team. The woman was told to disappear. She crisscrosses the country, north to south, east to west—ending her journey—hopefully safely—in Ft. Worth, Texas. Her first stop was to see if John Henry could help keep her safe. Does HATTIE have to die so that she can live?

Rustlers from western Texas, live a life with little care about other people’s work ethics, as they had none of their own. They tried to build their ranch by thinning the herds of other ranchers. A big mistake was choosing John Henry’s ranch, and meeting up with his wife and two children. How does an eight-year-old boy manage to protect his unconscious mother?
When the rustler aims a gun at his son’s head, would John Henry mete out justice or revenge?
Follow this double adventure, with double trouble, and deep soul searching by John Henry to determine where his priorities lie, and if he has the courage and faith to live with his choices.
