Three of the Rainey Bell Thriller novels in the five-book series have been honored as “Lammy” finalists. Here’s your chance to read those honorees in one bundled set. Included are Books 2, 3, and 5 in the series. Rainey Nights (2012), The Rainey Season (2014), and Relatively Rainey (2016).
Rainey Blue Bell is a retired former Behavioral Analysts with the FBI. The series follows her life after the FBI. They can be read in order or as stand-alone crime novels. Though the series has moments of family love and levity, these books are not for the faint of heart. After all, the topic is murder more than foul. Lock the doors, check the windows, and dive into Rainey Bell's world of darkness.

Rainey Nights
Women are missing and dying in the Triangle area of North Carolina. One woman holds the key to why. With the conclusion of the Y-Man murders nine months ago and her resignation from the FBI, former Special Agent and Behavioral Analyst Rainey Bell has finally found peace and contentment she never thought possible—even if she remains a bit paranoid. Her wariness is justified when a monster from her past rears his demonic head. Rainey has faced death and evil before—alone. Now it's different—she has a family to protect, her own. Only Rainey can keep them alive. Or can she?

The Rainey Season
The Rainey Season is the third in the award-winning Rainey Bell Thriller series, following Lambda Literary Award Finalist Rainey Nights. Each book is stand-alone. It does help to read them in order, but it is not necessary. In The Rainey Season, former FBI behavioral analyst Rainey Bell has settled into her life as a wife and mother with Katie Myers and the triplets. Consulting and private investigative work occupy the time not taken up with the one-year-olds crawling around her ankles. As always, her eye is on the security of her family, because Rainey knows evil is out there and that it is probably watching her. Rainey may be paranoid, but she’s often right. If it feels wrong, it usually is.

Relatively Rainey
Terrors come during vulnerable moments in the night. While lost in sleep, demons arise to expose our deepest dreads. Happiness is not a deterrent to the treachery of memories and fears.
Having suffered a traumatic event nearly five years prior, Rainey has settled into contented family life. When a body tied to JW Wilson surfaces, the compartmentalization Rainey Bell practices proves to be her near undoing. As the buried demons of her past come to call in nearly nightly terror-filled dreams, self-doubt becomes a constant companion.
Rainey endeavors to juggle life as a devoted parent, a loving spouse, a big sister, and a successful entrepreneur. Currently, she is using her behavioral analysis skills for the multi-jurisdictional task force hunting a fetish burglar turned murderer while trying to resolve her resurfacing post-trauma issues before Katie sends her packing. Rainey is also attempting to keep the youthful enthusiasm of her half-sister, Durham Police Officer Wendy King, from torpedoing her young career and endangering her extended family.
