Christmas is a lot more dangerous than it used to be.Freelance graphic designer and adjunct college professor Violet “Merry Christmas!” Harper frequently works out of her local coffee shop where her best friend Melissa Lee is employed as a barista. Roman “Bah Humbug!” Knox is homicide detective who’s been frequenting the same Starbucks to feed his caffeine addiction and his crush on Violet. But a cold December night, Leo (Melissa’s jerk ex-boyfriend), and a childhood game of “Are You Smarter Than a Criminal” brings the two together… in a bank vault. Now Violet and Roman are trying to unravel a misbegotten scheme to rob the bank, keep Violet and Mel from getting locked in the vault over the holidays, and maybe just maybe, land a date. It’s a mess, and it might take a miracle (and some meddling friends and family) to get Violet and Roman out of the bank and into love, but Christmas is the time for miracles.
