Drew "Doom" Kettinger is a badass hockey player with a bit of a temper. One too many bar fights has him sitting in the office of the General Manager while he awaits his fate. With punishment served, Drew is on his way to help coach a pee wee hockey team that the GM's nephew coaches. Drew hates kids, but when he sees the coach he's going to be working with, he figures maybe it won't be so bad.

Evan Callahan is not happy about getting stuck with Drew Kettinger, but his uncle insists that Drew can help his team start winning some games. Evan doesn't date closeted guys, but when Drew pushes the issue, he finds himself giving in. With feelings and emotions getting thrown into the mix, Evan struggles to stay in a relationship where one guy is out and the other is not. He can't keep this up much longer. But leaving Drew would mean breaking his own heart.
