It’s an uneventful Christmas Eve for Addison Banks until an alien shows up in her living room. He destroys her tree, terrifies her cat, and brings a whole host of trouble along with him. When Zavukai’i Space Force Guardian Vannik Osterion needs her assistance to get another unauthorized alien visitor out of her town, what is there for her to do but help?
Vannik has been fixing problems since he found his calling as one of his people’s defenders. When he learns that his best friend’s little brother has been living on Earth among humans and is in deep trouble, he begrudgingly agrees on a clandestine mission to bring him home. Vannik’s simple mission soon turns complicated, and getting everyone safely back to their respective planets might become well nigh impossible when Zavus refuses to go along with the plan. Vannik isn’t expecting to meet Addison, a human who defies all of his expectations. He never wanted to go to Earth, but now Vannik’s not sure how he’ll stay away.
