Saving the world is a one-woman job.

It’s open season in The Capital, and Abigail is the guest of honor. Unfortunately, not all who have come to the party have good intentions, and even the suavest of men are hiding darkness behind a mask. When a thrall of the Dark Star presents himself to her, the stakes instantly rise, and leave Abigail with no choice but to flee for her own safety.

Hunted by her enemies and in fear for her life, this newly-risen Angel of the Elements must go into hiding. Except she’s never left the Capital before, and now she’s being swept off to a country estate by her handsome dragon men and their overprotective brand of affection.

But darkness rarely stays hidden for long, and when a sickness hits the Eyrie, Abigail falls victim, too. Except it’s all a front to kidnap her for more nefarious intents. They want to twist her magic and break her spirit, and they’ll do what they must to bring about their end goal–forcing the Dark Star into the Angel of the Elements herself.

The only thing standing between her utter ruin or salvation are the four men who swore to stand beside her through it all.
