Gale struggles knowing that Emily doesn't belong at the ranch as she has taken something precious from Jack Calloway. Feeling that it is dangerous to have Emily in the house, she goes to her Master, the man she swore to serve all her life, and pressures him. Finding her voice to speak up, she realizes that intense pressure is building inside him. The more she pushes him, the more the monster stirs within until she discovers his great fears. Relenting to his fear, Gale surrenders and finds her purpose in serving his every need and release, finding her place at her owner's feet.
