The Princess with the Golden Touch continues from Jack and the Beanstalk where Jack finds and frees her. Now, this short adventure is Princess Brielle's story as she tries to find our who she is and how to lift the horrid curse of being able to turn everything into gold. (The conclusion to this quartet will be Princess Red's story--where Red find the way to lift the curse and free Brielle.) The Ugly Princess is a reimagining of The Ugly Duckling. In many ways it's a sweet Cinderella-esque story. Where a girl has been told so often that she's ugly, she believes it. It's overcoming insecurities and stepping into the light.
