Eden Winters
Or so Elevator C, aka Otis, reads on the back of a romance novel someone drops in his car. Stuck in his elevator shaft, the only way he can see his beloved is to cause maintenance problems, which summon the hotel’s electrician—and Hartt.
Who knew elevators could sigh? Otis doesn’t know what he’ll do with Hartt, but he wants that damned tool belt. The book makes him long for them both to be human, walking hand-in-hand in the sunlight. Reenacting some of the book’s racier chapters might be nice, too.
Then lightning strikes.
