THE FIRST SIGHT REJECTION

I followed my eyes down to his crooked nose, which I figured was the result of too many battles. His rosy, extremely full lips were finally met by mine with a snarl. "You have got to be kidding me!" He said in an extremely offensive voice, his lips pink. As soon as I gazed back up into his eyes, my gaze became inquiring. "Anyway, let's get this done. I,Mavrick Carter, reject to be your partner." He said,his voice laced with hate. Without turning around, he turned and hurried down the now-empty hallway. Rejection? On the first day ? At this school, the first person I saw rejected me.
It seems like this is the way it is at this school—if the most attractive boy turns you down, you are worthless. What a waste of time trying to make friends, mates, or whatever the term for people at this school is. I push those azure eyes from my mind and proceed inside the workplace to begin my new life.
