He was coming around. His optic sparked behind his eyelids starting up.
System’s starting….. Flashed across it, the computer in his brain catching up with the body.
He couldn’t feel any pain, but he knew he’d been experimented on again.
Diagnostic starting… Time delay inactive….
Yeah, he’d been out of it for a couple of hours. They must have brought him back a while ago.
Damage report….

They’d tampered with his system again.
Starting up…
All his systems came back online. He was back in his cell. His optic showed how much pain he would have been in if his pain receptors were turned on. His emotions off, his Cybernetics responded coming alive. No new orders….

Sitting up, he swung his legs off the bed looking around. His men were in their cages. His body a mess of injuries. Going to the bars he checked along the line of cells. His neuro net now active. Report!

His First pinged in. We are all here brother. None lost in your absence. Did you find anything to help us?
No. Knocked out again before I had time to gain access
Then we will try again when the next man is taken
Yes we will
He closed the link. His optic showing the questions in his mind.

How long could they go on like this?
His data automatically showing him just how many years it had been since they were brought here, ending up in these cells.

His logic told him what he already knew. They needed to get out. But these humans were not stupid. They kept them locked down, incapacitated until they needed them. Electronic dampeners in place, they couldn’t access any data outside of their own link.

Their orders forever programmed to the computers embedded in their brain. Cyborgs. Created by Earth Corp to be their army. Securing resources. Taking out the competition. Doing whatever they were programmed to do.

He took his nourishment and hydrated according to his diagnostic need. His system showing 83% and what he needed to do to remain at 100. He looked around his cell.
That was hardly needed here.
They’d not waged war in a long time. His optic now showing just how long in years, months, weeks, minutes.

That didn’t stop his men going through their routine day after day. Using their cells as their private gym. Doing what their systems told them they needed to do.

It was what they had left of their warrior program.

The overhead lights changed. The cameras going offline. They all knew what that meant. Those of his men now being programmed to shower ready to service their guests.

The security doors opened, three women ran in locking them behind them. Guns in their hands making their way down the stairs fast. Using a guard code, his door opened by the first. The others going from cell to cell. Their embarrassment at seeing his men naked clear on their faces.

“Shit… That’s a lot of man….” One murmured opening his Firsts door.
