Wide Awake by Cynthia Carver, Sara Cunnigham
Wide Awake is the journey of teenager, Tracy Richards, who navigates motherhood with one infant and one on the way. With the stress of her job on the line, a co-worker introduces her to like-minded people, and she learns to embrace her supernatural abilities.

As Tracy navigates motherhood and the stress of her job as night auditor, she discovers she’s pregnant again. Her life falls to pieces when a prophecy about Sylvester takes a turn for the worse. He continues to refuse to accept her supernatural abilities, and chooses to leave her behind when he goes to college.

She accepts the help of a co-worker and learns a new job that will allow her to work and keep her infant daughter with her. Life takes another unexpected twist when her boss is replaced by a thieving supervisor who changes the rules.

Learning to be an adult continues to be challenging and Tracy feels as if she’s drifting without direction. When the helpful co-worker takes her to explore a holistic fair, Tracy meets people like herself, who embrace their abilities, charge money for it, and share a reading with her about her future.

Does she really have more opportunities than before? Are there strings attached to the co-worker’s help?
