Jules:
I’m a trans woman, and I’ve been searching for the love of my life for as long as I can remember. When I met Ginger, I knew I’d found the one. Aside from being gorgeous inside and out, she’s dedicated her life to giving back to the community.
Our first kiss, however, ended in tears. With her traumatic history rearing its ugly head, we had no hope of continuing the relationship we both wanted so desperately.
A year and a half and one ill-advised marriage (plus one embarrassing divorce) later, I ran into her and realized that my feelings had not changed. I would beg on my knees for her to give us another chance.
Can she ever love me as I am?
Leo:
I’ve tried and failed to hide the truth from my friends: my heart is a mess. For the last four years, I’ve tried to get over Lovett, the nonbinary love of my life, but I can’t.
They’d wanted to be veterinarian since they were a little kid. When they left for vet school, I didn’t know how to be separated from them, and our fragile relationship fell apart.
Now, they’re back in town, and if there’s any hope I can convince them to give me another chance, I hafta take it.
Wish me luck. I think I’m gonna need it.
The Outsiders follows first Ginger and Jules, then Leo and Lovett, our side character favorites from the Lost Boys series. Their novellas feature a middle finger to gender norms, more spice than you’d think, and a pair of happily ever afters so swoony you’ll be sad to say goodbye.
