“Ms. Harlow is it? You’ll have to pardon me, I can't say I'm pleased to make your acquaintance,” he growls dismissively, and I snap my eyes away from the black ink marking his tanned, exposed forearms with an incredulous look.

What the f*** did he just say to me? My knees wobble as I stride toward him, ignoring the urge to lock my knees and run the other way instead.

There is something about him that gives off danger. As if he has shadows wrapped around his muscular body like a cloak.

“Who the hell do you think you are?” I roar, and the clubbers surrounding us gasp and murmur.

“My twin sister just died, and instead of you doing your job, you're busy showing off,” I snap, jabbing my hand at his nice chest, but the moisture dries from my mouth when I finally tip my head back to stare at him.

The Elite Dragon Guard is beautiful. Breathtaking.

It is the only way I can describe his chiseled face and straight nose, the full shock of dark hair matted with rain and curling beautifully around his head.

He looks like a man, but I am almost certain he couldn't possibly be.

Dragon Guards are Dragons after all, and if the fire and smoke that still burns in the back of my throat is any indication, Dagon Stone is the most powerful kind.

A fire Dragon.

He quirks one thick eyebrow at me just as an officer rushes to hand him his paperwork with shaky hands.

A beast like him craves fear, but I’m not going to give him any!

The longer he takes fucking showing off, the farther the Destiny Robbers will have time to go!
