Nicholas Whitaker, tech billionaire, and one of the CEO’s of the Whitaker Holdings had wanted one thing for a long time; - a child. He’d amassed all the wealth in the world, was considered one of the most intelligent men of his generation, but not even all his achievements could dull the need he’d had for the longest time.
Very much used to women only trying to date him for his wealth, he was no longer interested in settling down, but believed that a child was all he wanted.

When Tony his older brother, Lauren’s other boss, and handsy at that, interviews her for the managerial position she’d always wanted, things don’t go to plan. Tony makes a sexual offer to Lauren, which is rejected instantly.
But when a scandalous proposal is offered, one made without Nicholas’ knowledge, Lauren has to consider what it means not just for her career but for her personal life too.

The proposal is simple; have Nicholas’ child, and the position was hers, along with a few other perks she cannot refuse, she sees it as an opportunity of the lifetime. She had no marital prospects, and her biological clock was ticking, she takes the proposal, and both Lauren and Nicholas reach an understanding.

But the contract is not as clear-cut as they would both like. They had not accounted for the erratic attraction between them, one that not even their dedication to professionalism could wane.
