Shane was a free spirit, whereas Cole was controlled. They both required something different of me. And that was scary when we were all capable of making mistakes. It meant I had to surrender every logical fear and inhibition without any guarantees. It meant for the first time in my life, I had to stop running. They say that it’s worth it. In the books and movies, it always seems to be worth it. But we all know there is only one way to know for sure. — This book was previously published in 2012 but has been completely re-written to the point that very few similarities between the two remains, and it feels like an entirely new story. —
