Plain Jane and her Shining Knight: A Sweet Fairy Tale Romance

Journalist Rand Swanson arrives in remote Seven Pines in time to respond to the screams of a damsel in distress. For his gallant rescue efforts, he is beaten by well-meaning locals. When he hears the fellows call her Plain Jane, he vows to challenge their hurtful words. With her beautiful long hair, Jane reminds him of Rapunzel, but another fairy tale also comes to mind—the ugly duckling who transformed into a beautiful swan.

Waitress Jane Palliser never thought she'd meet anyone who catches her attention in the tiny village, certainly not a handsome man of knight-in-shining-armor caliber. He also urges her to leave the only home she's ever known, in order to pursue her art, but she's reluctant to take the leap.

Will the once plain-looking girl realize that she's turned into a comely young woman and find happiness and true love with her shining knight? Rand's surname suggests that they should be together.
