The Prince and the Commander

Prince Renari fondly recalls his childhood friendship with Cyrus, but fifteen years of war and disease have altered everything. Their marriage, arranged for the benefit of their kingdoms, has replaced the happiness they once shared with a sense of duty.

Renari, however, is determined not to give the marriage–or Cyrus–a fair chance. He isolates himself in the tower, immersing himself in his own personal library as a means of escape. Meanwhile, Cyrus is desperate to mend their relationship and is willing to go to any lengths to make the marriage work—even if it means courting his own husband.

The Prince and the Commander is a low stakes M/M slow burn romance set in a fantasy world. It is a grumpy/sunshine pairing and features an arranged marriage, mutual pining, and a HEA ending. Rated '4/5 - Explicit open door' for steam/spice/heat level.
