A hero. A nightmare. Whatever Boo is we are fated to meet.
Let’s get one thing straight. Halloween is the worse. My customers are rowdy, and think they get away with anything. I have to spend the night dealing with jokes of my birthmark on my face. And now, there is an invisible entity hurting people who comment on my mark.

An alien ghost walks in to a bar… yeah that could be the setup to world’s best joke or my nightmare. Or a dream come true…. Nope. Definitely, nightmare. Maybe.

Boo’s hot fiery breath is whispering into my innocent flesh claiming I am his. Promising to protect me no matter what. And I can’t argue how good he feels.

This is wrong. This is a ghost. An alien monster. A WHATEVER HE IS. I can’t be his. He can barely say more than word at a time. He is an impossibility and defies reality.

But my legs are quivering under his fingers. Beautiful iridescent colors are spilling between us. Boo’s hungry lips are pressing on mine. I am losing control. My fingers are tangling in the wall of fur, and the smell of funnel cakes and caramel is infiltrating my senses.

It’s getting harder, and harder to believe we aren’t meant to be together.
