Nostalgia (Cowboy Love & Mystery #9)
Claire Rose

Evelyn’s POV
Will suggests that we move back to the ranch. I miss the ranch too, and am eager to go back but not so eager to feel anything for my father when I learned that he had left, despite our agreement to stick together. The sheriff has sent some men to stand guard around the ranch. The effort seems wasted since no member of the Hornets was coming near the house to trouble us. Life is returning back to normal and is peaceful. Will has asked me to marry him, and I am excited, but the news of Timeon breaking out of jail takes away the happiness I am beginning to feel again.
Will’s POV
I miss being back at the ranch, and I think it is high time we stopped running from the Hornets, although they are the ones on the run at the moment. Timeon has been put behind bars, and that counts as a win for us. I am excited to be back at the ranch and although I do not like that Bill was breaking away from the group, there’s really nothing I can do about it. I have asked Evelyn to marry me. Things have been going fine and it seems like, finally, we might be rid of the Hornets. Things change, however, when we get news of Timeon breaking out of jail. That was doom; Big Tom’s family was out on the street.
