I was created for one reason; to save the Earth from the invading gods who wished to drain it until it was nothing but a lifeless husk. The problem was, I didn’t know who the gods were. So my mentors— a race of oracles who had been cursed to live as animals over two decades ago-- decided it was a good idea to take the socially stunted, forest-raised girl and thrust her into an elite academy in order to befriend and obtain information on a few potential gods.
Seeing as I had been trained to wake at a whisper and stab at a moment’s notice, and I had no idea how to interact normally with people, my integration into society went about as smoothly as a fawn trying to stand for the first time. That was, until I was adopted by a few friends who accepted me (almost) without question.
With their help, and the help of a necromancer, thief, vampire, and Death, (don’t ask, it’s complicated) my search for the gods progressed.
But when someone close to me was killed by one of the gods I should have vanquished, things I thought I knew became distorted, and I wondered how much of what I had been told was true.
Please note this is a PNR reverse harem novel with MM where the FMC will not have to choose between her love interests.
While this is not a dark romance, please be aware there are a few triggers that are mentioned at the beginning of the book.
Multiple characters have a play on (although not always 100% medically accurate) mental illnesses, such as Alzheimer’s, ADHD, depression, OCD, D.I.D., autism, schizophrenia, and a smattering of insanity.
