90's Love In Prov City

It’s the year 1997 in Prov City. Kids are running around playing freeze tag, women are enjoying a card game of spades, and the fellas are shooting the shit while BBQing, drinking 40s, and shooting dice. The ice cream truck visits the hood during the summer months, anticipating the long line of children waiting for their daily fix of lemonade, and box Chevys cruise down the street with the latest 90’s jams blaring through their speakers. During winter, kids enjoy sledding, building snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Dionne Fortes enjoyed the life that she built with her husband Clay and their two small children. With their favorite holiday approaching, she always looks forward to her children’s faces on Christmas morning, but little did she know, that the Christmas of 1997 would change her life forever. As she’s forced to start over, she vows to never put herself in such a vulnerable position again, but when a new love interest appears, she finds herself wondering if she should give love a second chance.

Daceon ‘Dace’ Thomas finds himself in his birth city again after more than ten years. With the loss of his grandfather, he moves back to Rhode Island to be there for his Gammy as she adjusts to her new life. While his main focus is to get on his feet while supporting his grandmother, his cousin introduces him to the chat room, where he doesn’t expect to meet someone, but does. As Dace gets to know Dionne, he finds himself wanting to give her everything she’s never had, starting with true love.
