Danny is a grumpy third shift convenience store clerk who hates his job. He expected to be a successful writer by the age of 36. It still hasn’t happened. It doesn’t help that he hasn’t written new work in nearly a decade.
Si is a sunshiny customer who strolls in during the post Halloween shift that just won’t seem to end. He should be wearing out his welcome, just hanging around like a creep, but there’s something mysteriously alluring about him.
The two misfits spend the endless evening discovering each other and the new path their lives are about to embark on.
