All I do is work and sleep, an uneventful life, to be sure.
Lately when I close my eyes, it feels like there's something there with me. The shadows touch, probe at me, and there's no explanation for it outside of the paranormal.
What I thought was a figment of imagination turned out to be a fierce shadow daddy with a protective streak. He's possessive, dangerous, and yet somehow alluring . . . I shouldn't want this, shouldn't want him. But he's everything a normal man isn't.
When my friend goes missing, he's the only one I can turn to. So I do.
Now if only I can escape this with my head--and my heart--intact.
