Ruby Hoodsman, talented marketing manager for a successful board game company in downtown Chicago, is up against her ex-boyfriend and co-worker, Jeremy Wolfe, for the Director of Marketing position. Unfortunately, Jeremy has just launched the most popular game of the holiday season, and Ruby’s chances don’t look good. Determined to enjoy Christmas in spite of it all, she heads to her late grandmother’s cabin in the woods to contemplate the path her life and her career have taken.

Seth Woods fled the big city years ago, abandoning a high-powered career in favor of building a new livelihood for himself around his gorgeous woodworking creations.
