I didn't know then that it was her who drew me here, that it was her first screaming lungful of air that gave me newfound breath, her heart that gave mine a beat, and her soul's entrance into our world, that sparked a flame in my own.
She might not yet know it, but she is fated to be mine, not only a part of the dark underworld from which she has been hidden but from those who believe that she might be the one destined to rule it all.
