The Last Christmas Kiss

It’s been almost six years since tragedy tore Julia and Sam’s relationship apart and the last place they expected to see each other again was in the beautiful Swiss Alps. They can’t avoid the reunion neither of them wanted, when they both accept contracts to work as mountain rescue medics in an exclusive ski resort during the run-up to Christmas.

A lot has changed in the last six years, but Julia’s only priority now is to get through the next ten days and back to the daughter who means the world to her. As far as she’s concerned, Sam let her down when she needed him most and the best Christmas present the universe could give her would be never having to see him again.

Sam has no idea why Julia’s so hostile, especially when she was the one to end their relationship, until he discovers just how big a secret she’s been keeping from him since they last met. Sam’s already been rejected by the one person who should have loved him unconditionally, and suffered the loss of his beloved father, so the last thing he wants is to risk getting close to Julia again – especially now the stakes are so high.

Neither of them anticipate Christmas working its magic, but it’s hard to ignore when they’re surrounded by snow covered trees, festive markets and enchanted cabins hidden deep in the forest. Then there’s the series of hazardous rescues, high up in the mountains, forcing them to work closely together and reminding them exactly why they fell in love first time around.

When the most painful part of Sam’s past suddenly comes back into his life, all his worst fears about being enough for Julia come crashing back in with it. Can they hold onto the magic they’ve found in Switzerland and take it back home, or have they already shared the last Christmas kiss they’ll ever have?
