Rolling Thunder by Debbie Williams
Kim Ellis lived the life that some other people might have dreamed of. She worked in a restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale Florida just off the beach. Somehow though she yearned for a different kind of life. One day while she was browsing through a job website, a position jumped right off the page to her. Within a short time, Kim left behind a broken romance and strained family relationships and soon found herself living and working on a ranch in Wyoming. Life in the west was beyond anything that she could have imagined. Suddenly, watching out for rattlesnakes, bobcats and snowstorms were a normal part of her life. Just as Kim became very attached to the family who owned the ranch, strange things began to happen. A ranch hand vanished, food began to disappear from the kitchen, and unknown people were lurking around outside at night. Is this ranch life more than Kim can handle?
