Two years ago, Cambridge tutor Spencer Bancroft took one look at Faith Burlington and fell in love. But when she walked into his literature classroom a week later he knew he’d never have a chance. But many academics will do anything to prevent working-class girls from attending university, and a zealous proctor arrests Faith to keep her from Cambridge. Can Spencer and Faith outwit the authorities to fight for Faith’s future and their love?
