Divorce: A Saint Patrick's Day Love Story
RJ Simpson

Ater kicking him out of their Buckhead home, she was heartsick and full of self-doubt. She knew it was the right thing to do but still she worried. What if she never found anyone else? What if she spent her life alone? Could she ever love again? Could she ever trust again. In the days that followed his moving out she cried what seemed like a million tears, and on Saint Patrick's Day, her two best friends, said, "Enough is enough."
"Let's have a girl's night on the town." They urged, and she uneasily agreed to do just that...
She had never had a one-night stand before. Her husband was the only man she had ever had been intimate with, but there was something about the beautiful green-eyed man that she met which captured her heart. Immediately. Maybe it was the hopelessness of her marriage. Maybe it was the allure of a no-name hook-up with a stranger from out of state. A stranger she was sure she would never see, again. Maybe it was just because it was St. Patrick's Day... she would never know, but the twelve hours they spent together changed her life. She would never see him again. She was certain of that. But, she would never forget him. He had given her hope that there was life, love, after the end of a marriage, For that she would be forever grateful.
He was considered one of the best divorce attorneys in America. Luckily for Georgie Hollingsworth, Violet's soon-to-be-ex, the much in demand Florida based attorney had been his brother's law school roommate. "Thanks so much for coming to Atlanta. For agreeing to take my case. My brother says you're the best, and I need all the help I can get." He explained. "I made a few mistakes in my marriage, there have been a few indiscretions. I regret that now, but my wife is determined to make me pay for it... big time."
"Don't worry about it." Memphis replied. "I've dealt with spiteful exes before. Your ex and her attorney are in for a surprise when they have to deal with me."
"Well, I'm sorry you have to come to Atlanta to handle the case."
"Not a problem. In fact, it actually turned out to be the opposite of a problem. I flew in last night and the hotel concierge told me there was quite a St. Patrick Day's party going on at a club down the street. Met a gorgeous woman, had a night I'm not ever going to forget...."
Georgie chuckled. "My brother told me you were quite the lady's man."
"Yeah, I've been around the block a few times, but honestly, this one was different. She was quite a woman."
"Great, maybe you two can spend some time together while you're in town."
"No. Unfortunately, that won't be happening. She's evidently coming off a bad relationship and just wasn't ready for anything more than a one-night kind of thing. A real shame." His beautiful green eyes clouded as he thought of the luscious woman he had said good-bye to only a few hours earlier. Already regretting the fact that he had not even got her name. "She was someone I would have enjoyed getting to know better"
"Maybe you'll run into her again." Georgie suggested.
In a city as large as Atlanta, the chances of accidentally meeting again, didn't seem likely. But, you never know....
