Although I enjoy shy, reserved heroines, I do not write doormats but I also do not write super over the top badass women. The heroines in my book build themselves up but they never lose that vulnerability. This is not a mafia-lite book and while there is nothing irredeemable about my anti-hero's, they aren't always the nicest to their ladies at first. Be warned.
