He matters, though. And Milo wouldn’t understand. At least, not at first.
So I need to ease him into the idea.
Make him think it’s his own.
Employ a little strategic manipulation for the greater good.
Because Milo, a theater major, just asked me to come help him run his lines for tomorrow night’s show, but helping him understand that he needs something more from me, that he’s meant to be mine, is the greatest good of them all.
And I’m done biding my time.
Things are gonna change between us, starting tonight.
