Unsportsmanlike Conduct With Coach Paxon
Tatienne Richard
Eleven years later, Oksana has moved on and has made a good life for herself and her son but she hasn’t done it alone. With the support of the crankiest Inn owner in the state of Montana, a single father of a child only a year older than hers, she’s been able to rise above her past and earn the respect and admiration of their small town. When her son’s father suddenly reappears in her life, she’s thrown for a loop, especially when he confesses he’s never stopped loving her.
Paxon Rivera is a retired NHL player, single dad, innkeeper and the town grump. Getting injured and having his dreams dashed as a young man and then having his wife divorce him and walk away from him and their son made him a miserable and untrusting man. When Oksana entered his life while his son was only an infant, he’d been defensive and certain he’d never fall in love again.
Over the course of eleven years though, she’s worn him down. He can’t imagine a life without her and their boys. When a blast from her past shows up in town and threatens the peaceful life they’ve built together, he’s going to have to man up or run the risk of losing her. Can he let go of the tough steely exterior he’s built around his heart to protect it, or will he lose it all to an NHL all-star who wears his heart on his sleeve?
