The best kept secrets are often right in front of us

Aurora Pierce, the former juggernaut of the Snowpeak Ice Breakers and now one of the most well-known unemployed people in the small mountain town of Snowpeak, finds herself alone in the darkness of her self-made isolation. Four months after her injury on the ice and slowly recuperating on her own, she’s become a shadow of the former all-star everyone knew her as.

Following the events of Christmas and Alice’s sudden need to leave Snowpeak, Aurora slowly descends into an isolated madness over the course of four months. On the brink of giving up all hope on the promises she and Alice once made, she’s determined but scared to get the answers she feels that she’s owed. However, not knowing when Alice will return, Aurora takes matters into her own hands and does whatever it takes to get her body back into functioning order, both physically and mentally. If only Snowpeak wasn’t being overwhelmed with a never-ending torrential downpour, that Aurora would need to escape her self-made prison to confront.

With all the snow having been replaced by rain. Aurora, armed with her most reliable weapon, a hockey stick, embarks on her quest for answers while even more secrets lie in wait beyond the rain’s veil. Upon stepping out into the soaking wet world, unbeknownst to her, her way of life is on a collision course with change; whether it’s for the better was still to be determined. With more than just her mental state on the line, Aurora must navigate a new frontier she’s never faced the likes of before that’ll leave her questioning everything. With the risk of her whole world collapsing around her, Aurora will need to decide where her loyalties lie, romantically and emotionally.
