I don't know how long I've been trapped inside of this table or why it happened in the first place. I spend my days watching dust motes drift by, rats scurrying across the floor, and wishing for someone, anyone, to know I exist.
That is until Lady Rose Ward moves in. She doesn't look like she belongs in this drabby cottage that is falling down around us, but I immediately want her to stay.
